The Sodality is collecting baby items to support POTS, a loving community striving to serve the poor and hungry in the Bronx. Please consider donating any of the following items: Diapers of all sizes, Baby wipes, Enfamil or NeuroPro Formula, Baby powder, Baby oil, Bottles, Pacifiers, Rattles, Stuffed animals, Baby blankets and swaddling, Cloths, Onesies, Baby wash cloths Collection boxes will be available in both churches from March 16th to April 6th. Grow in faith each day of Lent

We are honored to welcome Father Justin Maria Cinnante who will celebrate a Healing Mass, prayers and individual blessings with a first-class relic of St. Therese of Lisieux. We also welcome Father Lawrence Joseph who offers additional blessings with a relic of Blessed Alexandrina of Balazar. All are welcome to join us for this Mass, April 8th at 7:00pm in Sacred Heart Church.

Medicaid Seminar at the Atria

Mass intentions are now being taken for 2026 The donation for Mass Intentions is $15 for weekday Masses and $20 for weekend Masses.

The Altar Guild is selling 50/50 raffle tickets for their annual fundraiser. The drawing is May 19th. Please help support their service to our parish. Tickets can be purchased after Masses or at the Parish office.

Our Italian Cultural Club is off to a great start with much enthusiasm and a well-attended first meeting! Next Meeting is on Sunday, February 16th after the 10:15am Mass in Barbieri Hall.

We are very excited that Father Pete Philominraj has returned to our parish! As you may remember, Fr Pete was stationed in Our Lady of Victory Parish in lower Manhattan, two blocks away from the World Trade Center on 9/11. Father Pete will return to New York to receive his post 9/11 medical treatments. We are happy to welcome him back to reside with us here at Sacred Heart and Our Lady of Pompeii. Welcome back Father Pete!

Join our new Italian Cultural Club led by Kathleen Guglielmo Explore traditions, geography, food and everything Italian! The club will meet for the first time on Sunday, January 19th at 11am (after the 10:15am Mass) in Deacon Barbieri Hall. You don’t have to be Italian - All are welcome to attend!

Our 5th Graders are preparing for the Birth of Jesus with their own creations of the Nativity scene.

Join us on Sunday, December 15th at 3pm in Sacred Heart Church for our annual Lessons and Carols concert.

Will be celebrated on Monday, December 9th and it is a Holy Day of Obligation. Masses are 7:30AM in Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 8:30AM and 12:10PM in Sacred Heart Church

We are collecting monetary donations to purchase grocery gift cards to distribute for Thanksgiving through our Food for the Hungry Program. You can put your donation in an envelope marked “Turkey” and drop it in the collection basket or send it to the Parish Office. Thank you to all our volunteers for their time and work throughout the year in helping to support St. Joseph’s Food Pantry!
