On Monday afternoon, February 1st, we learned of the sudden death of Fr. Kevin O’Reilly. Fr. Kevin has been known and beloved by all of our parishioners since he assisted at Sacred Heart and Our Lady of Pompeii for several years until November 2019 when additional Seminary and Archdiocesan responsibilities prevented him from continuing. While we are greatly saddened by Fr. Kevin’s unexpected passing, we are grateful to God for his life, his priesthood and his ministry which, in so many ways, made the Lord Jesus present to us here in our parish. May he Rest In Peace. And, may Jesus Christ the Eternal High Priest now welcome Fr. Kevin to the Heavenly Liturgy.
