It is tradition for our Parish to each year honor past and present Police Officers and First Responders by celebrating a Blue Mass in the month of October. Please join us as we can recognize their service and express our gratitude for their extraordinary work and self-sacrifice. The Blue Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Pompeii Church on Sunday, October 15th at 10:15AM.
First Thursday Holy Hour at Our Lady of Pompeii Church resumes on Thursday, October 5th. Please join us for an hour of prayer and reflection in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
Join us at 11am in Sacred Heart Church on Sunday, September 17th for our first Family Mass on Catechetical Sunday. There will be a reception after the Mass in Oussani Hall where you will have the opportunity to meet your child's catechist. Religious Education classes begin on Monday, September 18th.
The 7:30am Mass at Our Lady of Pompeii Church on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays will resume after Labor Day, on Wednesday, September 6th. The Rosary for Vocations, also at Our Lady of Pompeii Church will resume on Thursday, September 14th at 7pm.
We are happy to welcome Father Daniel Mensah to our parish! Father Daniel will serve as Parochial Vicar for hopefully the next several years. We are very excited and fortunate to have him as part of our pastoral staff. Please welcome Father Daniel when you see him.
On the weekend of July 29th and 30th we welcome Maryknoll Sister Alice Vandenoever who will present at all Masses the 2023 Mission Cooperative Appeal for the Maryknoll Mission. Their work encompasses a variety of causes in the most poor areas of the world. Please welcome Sister Alice when you see her and consider helping to support their important work.
We welcome Father Raphael Nimoh Appiah, who will be in residence with us and assisting at Masses during the months of July, August and September. Please be sure to welcome Fr. Raphael when you see him.
On July 5th, we say farewell to Father Pete who has been with us these last few months for his follow-up 9/11 first responder treatment. We are so grateful to Father Pete for all he has given to us and for his presence which has enriched us and blessed us. Father Pete’s extraordinary personality, his artistic abilities, musical talents and his good humor have made him a friend to us all. We hope that Father Pete will be able to be back with us at some point in the future to be with us once again! Please be sure to see him before he leaves this weekend to thank him personally. Father Philip will return home to Ghana on Tuesday, June 13th. We thank Father Philip for his assistance to our parish and we pray that he will be able to come back and visit us again. Until then, we accompany him with our prayers and our love.
Our Annual Parish Picnic resumes this year on Sunday, June 4th (rain date June 11th). We will meet at 11am in the Dobbs Ferry Waterfront Park for Mass in the park, followed by festivities and food until 3pm. All are invited. Please click this link to register or volunteer.

Congratulations to the 3rd Grade Girls on winning the Westchester-Putnam County CYO Basketball Championship! Sacred Heart-Our Lady of Pompeii defeated Sacred Heart - Hartsdale 18 - 8. A special shout out to the 3rd Grade Boys team that came out to cheer on the girls. We are so proud of our young Terriers who have represented our parish so well! Go Terriers!
Congratulations to Father Fidelis on his new assignment as Pastor of Saint Theresa Parish in Berekum, Ghana and has also been given the added responsibility of teaching at the Nursing training college there. We congratulate Father Fidelis on this new assignment, and we assure him of our prayers as he begins this new work for the Lord and His people.
